About Orthopaedics

Orthopaedic surgery department of Viswabharathi Medical College is well established with excellent infrastructure which includes “C” arm, Arthroscopy instruments. Under this department all types of surgeries like Trauma fixations, spine instrumentation, Ligament reconstructions, though orthroscopy, joint replacement surgeries for joint arthritis, deformity corrections, limb length discrepancy cases with glizaror and orthotic procedures and paediatric orthopaedic surgeries are done.

Speciality clinics like Paediatric ortho, Arthroscopy Nerve Conduction studies conducted regularly. Basic orthopaedic Onco surgeries also performed. Well equipped physiotherapy department is attached shortly under which the patients will be treated with modalities like IFT, TENS, Wax therapy, U/S etc;
